Top leraar! Ik heb hiervoor wat andere gitaarleraren gehad waarbij ik tot een bepaal niveau kwam. Ik werd hierna niet heel veel beter en speelde alleen maar wat nummers mee elke les. Toen ik eenmaal bij ruben ging lessen maakte ik een hele hoop vooruitgang doordat hij precies wist waar ik nog in kon verbeteren. Ook veel theorie kon hij me leren. En nu nogsteeds ben ik vooruit aan het gaan! Zeker een aanrader!

Ik heb een dikke 1.5 jaar les gehad van Frank Jonas. Ik geef hem 5 uit 5 sterren omdat hij de kunst van het lesgeven beheerst: hij weet iets wat niet voor de hand liggend of soms zelfs moeilijk is zo gemakkelijk mogelijk te maken. Hij is bereid om de lessen aan te passen naar interesse van de leerling en de interesse te prikkelen als hij het gevoel heeft dat dit nodig is. Daarnaast is hij zeer goed op de hoogte hoe bepaalde nummers daadwerkelijk gespeeld moeten worden en zoekt hij dit geduldig uit om het zo goed mogelijk naar de leerling te vertalen.

Ruben is een inspirerende leraar die met plezier lesgeeft en zijn didactiek aanpast aan de student. Ruben komt steeds met toffe nummers die bij mijn stijl passen. Hij moedigt aan om jezelf te verbeteren, maar vooral om plezier te hebben en het niet erg te vinden als het even niet lukt. Door de prettige veilige leeromgeving durf ik te zingen bij het gitaar spelen en dat had ik nooit verwacht.
