Je kunt bij ons terecht voor saxofoonles als beginner of gevorderde. We werken met deskundige docenten en je kunt bij ons les volgen zonder wachttijden. Hierbij gebruiken onze saxofoondocenten lesmateriaal dat aansluit op jouw specifieke situatie.
Je kunt bij ons het hele jaar door instromen. Je kunt altijd weer opzeggen met één maand opzegtermijn De docent kan je tijdens de proefles adviseren over het lesprogramma en eventueel de aanschaf van een saxofoon. Heb je nummers die je graag zou willen spelen met je saxofoon? Neem het mee naar je eerste proefles, de docent kan dan samen met jou een plan opstellen om de muziek te spelen die jij leuk vindt.

Hi everyone! I am Andrea Leone, welcome to my profile! I am a saxophone player from Italy that fell in love with that brass tube around 22 years ago. I was listening to The Dark Side Of the Moon (Pink Floyd), Enrico Rava, Jan Garbarek, John Coltrane and I was questioning myself what’s this? How can it sound so beautiful? What kind of magic is this? All questions that are still without an answer nowadays, I am still looking for them after so many years. That’s probably why I still love doing what I am doing, the mystery is still unsolved! I hope to transmit to my student the passion for music and for playing I have. Start a path where we will look for some answers to your and my questions. Meanwhile having a lot of fun, because playing an instrument is first of all about playing indeed, who is not enjoy doing it?! Your age is not a problem to me, from 2009 when I started teaching I had students of almost any age from 6 to over 60 years old. It’s always a good moment for playing some music! I have some years of experience in teaching and tons of material, I have worked for 6 years in a public middle school in Italy as a music teacher and since 2009 I taught saxophone both in private schools and privately.

Hallo, leuk dat je er bent! Ik ben Aviv Noam, professioneel saxofonist, componist-arrangeur en saxofoon- en muziekdocent woonachtig in Amsterdam. Plezier in het muziek maken en een positieve, soms grappige en flexibele leeromgeving staan bij mijn lessen centraal. Ik heb een grote passie voor het lesgeven en ben vastberaden om mijn kennis van saxofoonspelen en muziek maken door te geven. Ik wil de leerling graag begeleiden en voldoende kennis en vaardigheden meegeven om op een dag zijn/haar eigen docent te kunnen zijn. Tijdens de lessen zal ik de leerling steeds beter leren kennen en kunnen we samen kijken wat de persoonlijke aandachtspunten zijn en hoe we het doel van de leerling kunnen bereiken. Mijn individuele manier van lesgeven is flexibel en ik zal per leerling kijken welke aanpak het beste werkt. Welke stijl van lesgeven ik ook toepas, het ontwikkelingsproces van het saxofoonspelen en muziekmaken zal centraal staan, niet de kortetermijn resultaten. *Ik woon nu 6 jaar in Nederland en ik ben bezig met het leren van Nederlands. Op dit moment geef ik de lessen deels in het Nederlands, deels in het Engels. Binnenkort hoop ik de volledige lessen in het Nederlands te kunnen geven. More about myself as a musician: I play all Saxophone types, Flute and Bass Clarinet and use the instruments to play different styles of music. From Jazz, ,Blues, Improvised & avant-garde music to Funk, Pop and Hiphop music. Growing up I spent my childhood studying classical saxophone music for 10 years as well. You can find videos of me playing different music styles in the links below :) I performed in music venues and festivals such as: North Sea Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, TivoliVredenburg, AFAS Live, Paradiso Amsterdam, Melkweg, Jazz In Duketown and many others also abroad and received a few awards for my work as well. About me: Originally from Germany, I moved to the Netherlands to study at the music Conservatory of Rotterdam. I have been playing Saxophone since I was little. During my early teenage years I got obsessed with playing music till I eventually decided to take private lessons. After being accepted to a specialised music boarding-school (where I gaind a solid fundament in music theory, ear-training) and graduating I decided to move to the USA. The birth country of Jazz. There I lived together with kids with special needs, being responsible for their general care, also involving myself in speech and music therapy but still performing in the local music scene and in Philadelphia. Through this year I gained a lot of practical experience teaching but also learned a lot about the value of patience and empathy. Also people with special needs - young and old - are more then welcome to messege me for lessons! Now I have almost lived in the Netherlands for 3 years, teaching but also intensely researching and studying music myself. I have played with amazing musicians like Dennis van Arsen, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Dystinct. Had the opportunity to play on many big stages like Ahoy or the Brabanthallen. Performed with orchestras like the Rotterdam Sinfonia or Redbull Symphonic. Toured the US and Europe and music has never been as exciting to me as it is right now and it only gets more and more fascinating. Languages: I mainly teach in English or German. (both on a certified C2 level) Maar ik ben nog volop Nederlands aan het leren, dus alle geduld en tips zijn van harte welkom. ;) My Teaching style: Together we will create a personalised routine that will help you get closer to your personal goals. We will explore what music YOU like and why It sounds so great. I will teach you how to improve your technique through specialised exercises that help you build a strong foundation in your playing (Rhythm, Sound, Harmonic and Melodic knowledge). We will also go through the basics of music theory and if you’re interested we will go even deeper. I also put a big emphasis on mental health and the state of mind while playing to keep the anxiety low and the excitement high. My name is Janis and I am a musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and, of course, teacher from Greece. My life has always been full of music, as I started with piano lessons when i was 9 years old and then I enrolled in the Music School of Thessaloniki, where I learned the saxophone, the guitar and the double bass and explored a lot of different musical paths. After the music school, I got my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on Musicology and Music Education. My main instrument is the guitar, on which I have already been giving lessons for the past 14 years. My experience includes lessons with students from 5 to 50 years old, either in group or individual lessons, in private and in institutions. All these years of academic and practical teaching experience can guarantee an education process that will take care of students needs, preferences and requests. Ik heb hele fijne lessen gehad bij Andrea. Hij is super enthousiast en je merkt dat hij echt passie heeft voor muziek. Hij biedt de ruimte om zelf te kiezen wat je wilt doen en leren, maar draagt ook leuke ideeën/lesmateriaal aan. Wat ook leuk is, is dat hij vaak meespeelt op de piano of op zijn eigen saxofoon. Ik heb me heel erg op mijn gevoeld en heb in korte tijd veel kunnen leren van Andrea. Ik zou hem 100% aanraden!

Fijne lessen, waarin ik een start kreeg om te leren improviseren. Doordat ik tijdelijk geen saxofoon heb stop ik nu versneld. Maar het is ook jammer dat de digitale verbinding met Giannis niet altijd goed was. Van de laatste les kon ik weinig verstaan...

Kan ik ook online saxofoonles volgen?
Ja, online saxofoonles via videobellen is een serieuze optie die door veel leerlingen goed bevalt. Je hebt er een stabiele internetverbinding en een laptop of tablet met een fatsoenlijke camera voor nodig. De docent kan je spel goed volgen en direct feedback geven. Het is iets anders dan les aan huis, maar voor veel mensen werkt het prima.
