For over half of my life, I’ve had the pleasure of dedicating myself to my biggest passion: music and drums! Along the way, I’ve learned from incredible musicians, spent countless hours behind the kit developing my own approach, and had the opportunity to play with a wide range of artists, across many different styles.

My goal is to share the experience and knowledge I’ve gained over the years to help you find your own path on the drums. Each lesson is personally tailored to your goals—whether you want to learn songs, develop grooves, explore different styles, improve reading, understand musical concepts, prepare for auditions, or simply have fun. I’ll help you grow at your own pace.

All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced players. I teach students of all ages, starting from 10 years old, though exceptions can be made depending on the student. At the moment, lessons are available in English and Spanish.

Diego Miranda (b. 1994) is a professional drummer and musician from Puerto Rico, currently based in Amsterdam. For several years, he was an active part of Puerto Rico’s music scene, performing in a wide range of musical genres including: jazz, rock, hip-hop, fusion, Brazilian, Afro-Caribbean, and electronic music, among others.

In 2019, he earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Afro-Caribbean Music Performance from the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico. More recently, in 2024, he completed a Master of Music in Jazz Drums at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since moving to Amsterdam in 2021, his diverse musical background, adaptability, and dedication have allowed him to perform with a variety of artists in venues, festivals, competitions, and studio recordings across the Netherlands and Europe. Some of the local venues, festivals, and competitions he has performed at include: Bimhuis, Concertgebouw, TivoliVredenburg, Grachtenfestival (2022), Just Jazz Festival Delft (2024), Keep an Eye International Jazz Award (2023 & 2024), and the Dutch Jazz Competition (2024), among others.

Currently, he continues to establish himself in the Dutch and European music scene, always seeking to push his boundaries, expand his musical capabilities, and striving to perform any musical style as authentically and tastefully as possible.
