Miyu Nohashi

Hello, I'm Miyu! I grew up in Japan and graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music with a bachelor's degree in both classical and historical violin performance. I'm now pursuing my master's in baroque violin performance at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.

I started my journey with the violin when I was five, after listening to my mother who's an amateur violinist practice at home. I've never looked back since then, and have been obsessed with the instrument itself and the music :)

I have experience teaching in both English and Japanese, working with everyone from kids to adults across a wide range of levels. Whether you're a complete beginner who's never read music or touched an instrument, or an advanced player looking to refine your technique, you're welcome!

Violin lessons for people of all ages and skill levels, taught in either English or Japanese.

I offer lessons tailored to each person's level, goal, and preference, so whether you're a child* or an adult, a complete beginner or an advanced player, you're warmly welcome! (*minimum age: 3 year old)

Lessons offered at student's home would require a quiet environment with enough space for two people to comfortably play the violin.

* Please prepare your own instruments! *

Video lessons will be held on Google Meet and the link would be provided to you via email before the lesson time. Please make sure that you have a good internet connection for video lessons.
