Hoi allemaal, ik ben Jaehyung Choi uit Zuid Korea. / Hi everyone, I'm Jaehyung Choi from South Korea.
I recently graduated from the Jazz Voice department at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences with anyone who us curious about music.
I sing, play the piano, write original songs, improvise and teach students of all ages. I started learning singing and piano since I was 13, I studied composition in Korea and have explored a wide range of genres like K-pop, pop, indie, rock and jazz. With years of music training and performance experience, I can help students develop their skills whatever they're looking for.
As a teacher, I think learning is a shared journey. So, I value a collaborative approach growing together and supporting each student's exploration of music. I use to teach children and elder people in Amstel International Music School and Set in IJburg and I have experienced giving private lessons over 3 years.
