Intro

(ENG) My name is Stas Jar, I am piano teacher and concert pianist. I started playing piano at the age of 5 and my passion for music I got from my parents who are both professional musicians. Born in Moldova and continued my post graduate studies in Performing Arts in U.S. and France. My experience in piano teaching extends over 20 years and includes students of different ages and nationalities. Together with the students we choose the repertoire that would be suitable, enjoyable and somewhat challenging for them. There is also an opportunity (optional) for each student to perform in front of a small number of audience in a concert dedicated only for them. The goal of my lessons is to make each student self efficient and musically well educated.

For over four years, Stas has been our piano teacher for myself and my two teenage children, and we could not have wished for a better one. He combines deep musical passion with excellent pedagogy, high standards, and genuine enthusiasm for every step of our progress—no matter how small. His dedication shows in everything: from helping us select inspiring pieces to ensuring that technical foundations are mastered and carried forward. Stas is not only a fantastic musician but also a truly exceptional teacher.
