Born and raised in the vibrant city of Athens, Greece, Harris discovered his passion for the guitar at just 10 years old. Largely self-taught and guided by a handful of private mentors, he committed early to making music his life's work.
Harris’s journey led him to study Audio Engineering and Music Production at S.A.E. Athens, where he honed his technical skills and released his debut album before pursuing advanced studies at the HKU Conservatory in the Netherlands. Now based in Utrecht, he is an active musician, collaborating on diverse musical projects while sharing his love for the guitar with students.
Harris provides a super relaxed and non-judgmental environment for learning by focusing on my own music taste for the lesson material (even technique exercises are fun to do this way!). It feels like the lesson is about what I already CAN do and how to expand that further, rather than focusing on the negative “can’t”. I wish every student could experience this open minded and kind teaching approach!
I’ve had such a fun time getting lessons from Harris. You can tell he has a lot of experience and he teaches in a super calm and respectful way. He never made me feel rushed or stupid. His patient approach to teaching was super nice and even after the first lesson I had FUN playing the guitar, because even with only being able to play two notes, he made something creative out of it. He would for example improvise over these two notes, so we would already be making music, together. Which made me super happy. Would highly recommend. Thank you Harris!!:)
