Hi, my name is Delara. I started playing piano when I was six years old, and music has been an important part of my life ever since.

I teach beginner piano students in a patient, structured, and encouraging way. In my lessons, I combine piano technique with basic music theory, solfège, ear training, rhythm work, and note reading. I believe students should not only move through a method book, but also understand what they are playing and gradually develop their musical ear.

I adapt each lesson to the student's level, pace, and learning style. My goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy music, and create a healthy practice routine from the beginning.

I usually teach on the University of Twente campus, in the Vrijhof music rooms. From the second week of September, the acoustic rooms will be available again.

Home lessons may also be possible within the Enschede and Hengelo area, depending on the location. Online lessons are always available as well.

My piano lessons are mainly focused on beginner students who want to build a strong and enjoyable foundation in music. I combine piano technique with basic music theory, solfège, ear training, rhythm work, and note reading.

I do not only follow a method book step by step; I adapt the lessons to each student’s level, pace, personality, and learning style. My goal is to help students develop musical hearing, confidence, regular practice habits, and a real understanding of what they play.

Lessons can be given in English or Persian. I am currently learning Dutch.

Online lessons can take place via Google Meet, Zoom, or WhatsApp. Before the lesson, I will send you the meeting link.

Please position your phone, tablet, or laptop so that I can clearly see your upper body, hands, and the piano/keyboard while you are playing. This allows me to guide you with hand position, posture, and playing technique during the lesson.

No special equipment is needed; just your instrument, device, and a stable internet connection.
