No Music, no life.... Know Music, know life! Are you interested in learning (Classical / Jazz / Latin / pop) piano? Or want to learn how to compose your own music? Or you just want to have some fun with playing piano and singing with it? Or you want to learn more about music theory (to know more about chords, scales, ear-trianing ...etc)?
I'm YingYing Su, a profesional pianist, composer and educator graduated both Classical piano and Jazz piano from the conservatory in Taiwan and from CODARTS Rotterdam conservatory, the Netherlands. For my own musical path, I started playing piano since I was 6 because my grandmother and mother are both playing piano (it is always really fun if someone at home can play piano! we would always sing together around the piano after dinner). Because it's so much fun, I started teaching my friends piano and chords while studying in high school already!
That's why I have many years of teaching experience in private and group lessons, from children to adults, beginners to advanced players. I teach people who have never touched a piano before , along with young adults helping them to prepare for entrance exams in conservatory as well.

I've been teaching music theory to music producers who want to expand their knowledge about chords and different chords possibilities.
I've been teaching classical pianists or church pianists who want to know more about chords and how to accompany others.
And I also have been teaching music theory to help my students to prepare their theory exam, ear trainning to enter conservatories!

My 8yo son had his first lesson with Ying Ying, and because of her he is determined to learn how to play the piano. She is very friendly and good with kids. She made it 'easy' and fun for him, I will be forever thankfull for that. As a side note, keep in mind that lesson will be in English - I didn't think of it beforehand ;-).

Ik raad iedereen deze docent aan! Ze is erg geduldig, super vriendelijk. Je kijkt iedere keer maar weer uit naar de volgende les! Ik voel mij erg prettig bij haar. De lessen worden goed benut en de stof die je meekrijgt is super! Communicatie is ook 10/10!

YingYing is een positieve en vriendelijke persoon die met veel geduld en rust lesgeeft. Haar uitleg is logisch en ze breekt complexe en ingewikkelde muziektheorieën in kleinere, begrijpbare stukken op en past de les en het huiswerk daar goed op aan. Ze speelt zelf ook fantastisch natuurlijk! Ik ben super blij dat ik les van haar krijg en raad een ieder die een slimme, leuke en sympathieke docent zoekt haar te overwegen, omdat ik denk dat je vooruitgang en resultaat zult behalen.

Dear reader, I had a very nice experience during the piano lessons of Ying Ying Su. Last year I found her lessons because I wanted to take place at the conservatory and guess what, I got accepted three times. And yes, that's also because of the lessons of this lady. She is a well listener, makes schedules, explains it easily a few times (and more if you still don't understand), comes up with new music (that fits you) and she is a great pianist herself.
