Hello, I' m Tryfon Gkentzis, a drummer from Greece with over 10 years of epxerience performing and teaching across various countries including, Greece, Netherlands Slovakia, Chech Republic, and Kurdistan. My passion for drums started at a young age, when I found myself naturally drawn to hitting things in rhythm. This love for rhythm eventually turned into a lifelong journey, leading me to study at the conservatorium van Amsterdam.

My musical path was deeply influenced by my family, who introduced me to music and especially my older brothers who where always with an instrument in their hands. Their support and encouragement were key to my musical development, and I am forever grateful for that.

As a teacher, my goal is to pass on the same passion and curiosity that has driven me throughout my career.. I hope to inspire my students to not only learn the technical aspects of drumming but also to foster a genuine love for music. My aim is for them to always be curious, keep learning and find joy in their musical journey.

I focus on building musicality, timing, coordination, groove, with an emphasis on making learning joyfull and isnpiring.
