Hello everyone, I'm Stavros, a passionate musician who believes in the transformative power of music as the ultimate form of expression. From the outset of my musical journey in Thessaloniki, Greece, where I was born and raised, I discovered the violin's enchanting ability to convey emotions and connect people across cultures.

My musical odyssey began at the Conservatory of Northern Greece, where I immersed myself in the art of violin performance, earning accolades for my dedication and excellence. Throughout my formative years, I had the privilege of learning from esteemed mentors such as Zlatka Zlateva, Mikis Michaelides, Tosca Opdam and Stephan Picard, whose guidance shaped my musical identity.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of influences, ranging from classical composers to contemporary virtuosos, I co-founded the ensemble "Kypseli," dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sonic exploration through innovative collaborations and a fusion of instrumental colors.

From participating in prestigious festivals to premiering works by renowned composers, every experience has enriched my understanding of music's profound impact on the human soul. As a member of the Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra of Thessaloniki in 2017 and a participant in international music seminars, I honed my skills and cultivated a deep appreciation for the collaborative spirit of chamber music.

Now, as I continue my musical journey at the ArtEZ Conservatorium in Zwolle and share my passion as a violin and music theory/harmony teacher in Utrecht, I am committed to imparting not only technical proficiency but also a profound love for music to my students.
