Naast mijn werk als actieve componist, arrangeur en bassist, ben ik met veel passie actief als docent Piano, Basgitaar / Contrabas, Compositie, en Muziektheorie: Harmonie aan de Piano. Al deze veelzijdige muzikale ervaringen inspireren mij om mezelf te blijven ontwikkelen én om mijn opgebouwde kennis en liefde voor muziek door te geven aan de volgende generatie muzikanten.

Hi! I am Nuno Torres Marques. I graduated with a Master of Music degree from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Alongside my creative projects as an active composer, arranger, and bassist, I am deeply dedicated to teaching Piano, Bass guitar / Double bass, Composition, and Music Theory: Harmony at the Piano. These diverse musical experiences continuously inspire my own development and fuel my passion for passing on practical, high-level musical knowledge to my students.

We put these concepts straight into practice using harmonic progressions, which you can apply directly to your own favorite tunes, songs, or original compositions. You will discover exactly how music works through the lens of Functional Harmony and beyond.
