My name is Niccolò, I’m an Italian bass player based in Rotterdam.I started playing bass 15 years ago, basically more than half of my life, and I truly believe it is the coolest instrument out there.

I completed my BA in Music in Italy in 2020, and since then I’ve been working as a musician and teacher in both Italy and Mexico, where I lived for some time. I’ve performed on small and big stages, with original projects as well as cover bands.

Life brought me to the Netherlands, to continue my journey and completing my education with a Master’s degree.

As a teacher, I’ve worked privately and in collaboration with music schools, teaching children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to intermediate levels.

My teaching philosophy is simple: music is something natural for human beings, just like speaking.We are wired for rhythm, melody, and expression. When playing feels uncomfortable, forced, or stressful, it usually means something isn’t flowing naturally yet. My goal is to help you find that natural flow.

As I mentioned, I believe music is something natural. My role as a teacher is not simply to “teach you how to play,” but to help you reconnect with that natural musical instinct that everyday life sometimes makes us forget.
