Hello! I am Michelle Alodia, classical piano performer, studying Bachelor of Music in Classical performance at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium, The Netherlands. My interest in music began when I was very young, at the age of 7. Despite not being able to affordable a piano, my parents enrolled me to a piano course and I would arrive early to practice before my lessons. I was persistent with my dreams and spent 2 years without any piano at home. Noticing my talent, my parents worked hard to provide me more lessons. I have been actively compete in piano competitions and festivals at Indonesia, awarded with top prizes. I have also completed Grade 8 ABRSM practical examination in piano with distinction score of 142 out of 150. 

During my studies in Holland, I study under the guidance of Klára Würtz who I am truly passionate about studying with. I performed a lot with chambers, as in Piano Trio, Duos, and also Liedklas (with a singer). Other than school, I participate in lots of gigs, working with singers, accompanying church choir, and also solo concerts in the elderly home all across the Netherlands.

Born and raised in Asian countries, I received lots of extra musical class since young age, like Masterclass, Technique Class, History Class, Solfege Class, Theory Class, and also joined lots of competition. I believe with all these experiences, I am be able to teach with more knowlegde base.

I have been teaching since the age of 13, assisting my piano teacher with younger students then gradually teaching more advanced students. My experience in teaching is mostly in the classical tradition, with students starting from the age of 5 to adults. Encountered a lot of younger students, I believe the most effective way of learning is to make it fun yet productive; to focus more on the longer term of learning purposes, to make it approachable yet still efficient.
