Kattalin Butron Lagos

Hello everyone! I'm Kattalin, a violinist from the Basque Country. I graduated with honors from the Conservatory of Music in Pamplona and I'm currently finishing my master’s degree at Codarts (Rotterdam).

Currently, I play in both a string quartet and an octet, and I really enjoy sharing music in both performance and teaching. I support each student in their journey, adapting to their needs and goals. If you’d like to grow with the violin in a friendly and motivating environment, I’d be happy to help.

In my lessons, I work with students of all levels — from complete beginners to advanced players. Whether you want to build a solid technical foundation, improve your musical expression, prepare for auditions, or simply enjoy playing, I tailor each class to your goals and pace. We can work on classical repertoire, technique, sight-reading, or anything else you’d like to focus on.

In this courses we work on different aspects depending on the students needs and level.

For beginners, we learn to hold the violin and the bow, first steps with scores and enjoying easy pieces.

For advanced students, we can work on phrasing, intonation, sound quality...
