Hi there! My name is Francisca and I am a 1st violinist in Residentie Orkest (The Hague).I firmly believe that passionate and hardworking people can learn and develop their violin skills independently of their current level. However, for that to be possible, it is essential to focus on the background of each individual and accommodate the teaching method according to the student's possibilities and wishes.For the past 7 years I have been living in the Netherlands, I have taught students of different ages, nationalities, and levels. During my studies, I also had the chance to participate in a methodology course, which greatly influenced me as a teacher.As a 1st violin member of the Residentie Orkest in Den Haag, I am also interested in teaching orchestral excerpts and helping with audition preparation.

Francisca is a fantastic teacher! She is observant and precise which is important for a beginner. Francisca encourages students to analyze their playing which helps them improve and structure their independent practice. Her student-oriented approach ensures that lessons are productive and tailored to a student’s strengths and weaknesses. She uses a variety of resources in her lessons and creates her own exercises if a student requires further support. If you’re struggling, she is able to make you think about the problem in different ways. After each lesson you receive a summary of things to focus on during your at-home practice. Very useful! I really enjoy my lessons with Francisca! She is a talented performer, a supportive teacher, and a very kind person. Highly recommended. :)
