Ik ben Elvis, professionele drummer en als je op zoek bent naar drumlessen dan ben je hier aan het juiste adres! 🙂Ik kom uit Slovenië en woon in Rotterdam, afgestudeerd aan de Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam. Mijn reis met drums begon op 7-jarige leeftijd als onderdeel van het orkest van mijn vader. Toen ik 9 was kreeg ik mijn eerste drumstel en sindsdien krijg ik steeds meer passie voor dit prachtige instrument.

I’m Elvis, professional drummer and If you’re looking for the drum lessons then you’re on the right place! 🙂I’m from Slovenia living in Rotterdam, graduated at Codarts University of Arts in Rotterdam. My journey with drums begun at the age of 7 being part of my father orchestra. When I was 9 I got my first drum kit and ever since I’m growing passion towards this beautiful instrument. My biggest passion to start with drums was coming from bands like Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, The Police Dire Straits, Herbie Hancock, Tower of Power, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang, Lenny Kravitz, Meshuggah, Deftones, Nerve and so on. Over the years I’ve experience many styles on professional levels. The key is to enjoy and have fun when playing drums and that’s what I’m teaching my students. I take every student personally and work with her/his wishes. I let students bring their music on which they learn how to play and improve their drumming skills playing their favourite music. Like this the students learn quickly. For every student I have prepared suitable exercises that will help them drumming better and better.

The first lesson depends on the knowledge that a student has. For Beginners, the first lesson is to get to know the beautiful world of drums and how they work! By the end of the trial lesson you’ll be able to play the first groove, even playing along with your favourite song.

You are never too old to start the drum lessons, I have students of all types of ages and I prefer to start teaching drums to students that completed age of 12. The most suitable duration of the lesson is 30 min a week or 1h every two weeks.

Things you need to bring on the lessons: smile, your favourite music and earplugs if you want to play loud as a rockstar:) For the rest I’ll take care and it will be awesome!

Ik geef les op oefenruimte/studio-  Westzeedijk 387 in Rotterdam – Delfshaven. Elvis is een ervaren drumleraar die geschikt kan zijn voor alle niveaus. Zijn lessen bestaan ​​uit het spelen van verschillende muziekstijlen en het gebruik van verschillende technieken voor elke stijl, van jazz tot technische metal. Elvis teaches at rehearsal space – WestZeedijk 387 – Delfshaven. Elvis is an experienced drum teacher that can be suitable for all the levels. His classes are made from playing different music styles and using different techniques for each style from jazz to technical metal. The lessons are focused on playing different grooves. Elvis takes care of each student individually for the improvement and helps to share a mindset of a drummer!
