My name is Antonio Peñalver and I have been playing trumpet since I was 7 years old. I have been my whole life into music and I have played with dozens of bands (from traditional spanish music, classical, jazz, latin, flamenco...) along my career. I started studying classical for 7 years in a conservatory back in my hometown and then I started learning jazz in a jazzschool before I started my bachelor first in Sevilla (Spain) and since 2022 here in Rotterdam where I will finish my bachelor of jazz trumpet at the end of this academic year. 

Althought I love playing gigs, I like to combine my work both with playing and teaching because I think it is very rewarding to transfer your passion for music and your knowledge into someone else while learning from your students. I think that is quite a nice feedback.

I have been teaching trumpet a few years now. In my lessons I like to adapt the material to every student to develop a personal trumpet routine according to the interests of the student. All this by learning while having fun.
