Introduction Violin teacher
My name is Evita and I come from Slovenia. I started to play violin at the age of 7. After the first violin lesson I was very thrilled and I immediately knew it’s the right instrument for me. I liked the way my teacher introduced violin to me, so I know how important is to get right imagination about an instrument and basics, especially as a child. Then after a few years of playing in the music school and later in music high school, I went to Austria to do my bachelor degree of violin at Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität Klagenfurt. During the study I was playing in many orchestras worldwide and in many chamber groups, what I like the most. I was participating in various violin masterclasses, not only in classical music. I was also teaching in a music school, where I had a class of little children as well as a few adults. After four years in Austria I decided to continue my studies in Belgium at Institut superieur de musique et de pedagogie Namur. Now I live in Rotterdam, where I teach students and practice for the final exam, which I have this year in Belgium.
I hope you got an short impression about me, with these few words I wrote ?
