From Brazil to the Netherlands
Brazilian pianist and singer Elton Oliveira studied in São Paulo, where he was able to be part of classical music groups, such as the Youth Choir of the State of São Paulo and the Municipal Theater of São Paulo. The main focus of the music is to work with all types of the musical language; this is why his musical influences are in modern popular music, between the music of South and North America and the music of Latin Europe, while Stravinsky and Mahler are so important as well.
He has worked as a piano and voice teacher since 2007, who has worked as a music teacher in elementary schools in Brazil. In the Netherlands, you will find a modern approach using the best music apps and tools to learn the piano and voice to help the student.
After a long time working in music, I had a lot of experience in different types of jobs, like classical music, musicals, jazz groups, and other things. I concentrated my piano lessons on topics such as Reading music with classical and pop songs, which brings knowledge of rhythms, melodies, and harmony, improvisation with jazz standards, and my specialization in Latin American songs.
About the lessons
In my singing lessons, I look for what the student wants (pop, rock, jazz, musical, classical, etc.). My vast experience is in classical, musical, and rock music, where I worked with many groups (professionals and amateurs) and events. Of course, reading music is essential and I bring it with classical and pop songs, with knowledge of rhythms, melodies, and harmony, improvisation with jazz standards, and my specialization in Latin American music.
In my classes, I work with books, sheet music, playing together, and exercise.
